Burger It

Burger It is a newish place to Hawthorn where the students study. It is a stone's throw away from Swinburne uni and a stone's throw away from Glenferrie station.

It is a tiny little burger joint, not as big as Grilld, so many people got takeaway. Their burgers are expensive but there was a promotion on Facebook advertising their $5 burgers. It is their signature star spangled burger.  Their star spangled burger has organic beef, cheese and the usual makings of a burger.

The lady that served me was very friendly.

The bathrooms are at the nearby town hall.

There is a courtyard at the back but you have to exit the entrance and turn right. And then right again and enter via the carpark.

For an extra $5 you can add chips and a drink. I was intrigued by Schweppes Orange and Mango drink so I chose that. It was alright.

The burger itself was good, but there were a few gristly bits in there. And you only had a choice of two types of buns; multigrain or white. Unlike Grilld there is no souradough or panini bread. I also asked for caremelised onions- there was only one. But that's ok as I was going back to work afterwards and didn't want to have bad breath.

The chips were nicely salted. For an extra $0.50 I got some of the best sweet chilli mayo ever.

Do come by this place and do follow them on Facebook for their latest promotions. I hope that Eat and be Merry come and visit one weekend before a footy match.
