Satu Produk Durian

As part of Bupa's best blog competition for 2015

This place is a durian dessert place in the heart of the city. These days it is so hard to find durian and places that sell them so this would be good news for durian fans. This place has not been open long.

I have tried durian before at one of the Malaysian festivals and although it smells it tastes nice and is a fruit.

Like Dessert story their main focus is dessert and dessert alone. They have meal sets for those that want to try two things in the one visit. And I got say though that the durian crepe looked good and so did the durian parfait.

You order and you pay upfront. And then they will give you a number. The cashier was a lovely lady who smiled and was very friendly.

I had the durian crepe (normally $3.8) and the cold coconut soup with durian ice cream( normally $8.80). With the meal deal its $10.80. The dessert was not too sweet and they used the durian well. But the crepe was hard to eat as it wasn't cut well. It was cut haphazardly.

But I loved the creaminess of the soup and the milky texture. I also loved the coconut bits as it was creamy and not like other jelly which is hard. At first taste I thought it was tofu.

Rating: 17/20- yummy, healthy desserts. Curious Charlie I know you enjoy these and you better come soon.
